  3. We are happy to report that we have not had any problems running
  4. SolveIt!, version 4.2, under MS Windows 3.0 in either full screen mode
  5. or windowed mode. However, it has only been tested with Windows running
  6. in enhanced mode on a 386 computer. We would appreciate hearing from you
  7. if you have any problems.

  9. SLVIT4.PIF is the file that contains the settings that we use when
  10. running SolveIt! under Windows. To use this file, copy it to your
  11. window's subdirectory.

  13. If the subdirectory that you have SolveIt! in, is in your computer
  14. system's path statement, then all you need do is to double click on
  15. SLVIT4.PIF and SolveIt! will start in a window. (This is done from
  16. the File Manager.) (You could update a group to include SolveIt!)

  18. If SolveIt!'s directory is NOT in your path statement, then you will
  19. need to use Window's PIF editor (found in the ACCESSORY GROUP) to enter
  20. the Start Up Directory. (While in the PIF EDITOR, open SLVIT4.PIF from
  21. the file menu, enter the directory, and then save your changes.)
